Phat Tuesdays: The Era of Hip Hop Comedy is an American television documentary series about the 1990s comedy showcase hosted and created byGuy Torry. It premiered onAmazon Prime Video on February 4, 2022.

The series tells the story of Phat Tuesdays atThe Comedy Store in Los Angeles. The event was founded and hosted by comedian Guy Torry from 1995 to 2005, to spotlight Black performers, and helped launch the careers of comedians includingSteve Harvey,Chris Rock, andMartin Lawrence.[1][2][3] It includes interviews with comedians and celebrities who were there, and previously unreleased footage of comedy sets.[4] All three episodes are directed byReginald Hudlin.[4]
