Genus of shrubs
Petraeovitex is agenus of eight climbingshrubs species known to science, of the mint familyLamiaceae (formerly placed withinVerbenaceae ).[ 2] [ 3] [ 4] Collectively, they grow naturally inBorneo ,Peninsular Malaysia ,Sumatra , thePhilippines , theMoluccas ,New Guinea ,Bismarck Archipelago , theSolomon Islands andCape York Peninsula , Australia.[ 2] [ 4] [ 5]
The 1981 review paper by Harold N. Moldenke was the source,[ 2] additional distribution information came from the Australian Tropical Rainforest Plants information system:
