Peteski (1990–2001) was aHall of FameChampionThoroughbredracehorse who won theCanadian Triple Crown in 1993. He was sired by theU.S. Triple Crown winnerAffirmed, and was out of themare Vive, a daughter ofNureyev.
Peteski was owned and raced byAmerican businessman and futureUnited States Ambassador toFinlandEarle I. Mack. The colt made just one start as a 2-year-old, finishing fifth in a Maiden special weight race atGreenwood Raceway.
Following his Triple Crown win, Peteski met two of that year's U.S. Triple Crown race winners in September'sMolson Million. Up againstKentucky Derby winnerSea Hero andBelmont Stakes winnerColonial Affair, Peteski won.
Retired from racing, Peteski stood atstud atDarby Dan Farm nearLexington, Kentucky until 2000, after which he was moved to Pin Oak Lane Farm nearNew Freedom, Pennsylvania. He met with modest success as a sire.
