Peterborough Tramways served the city ofPeterborough from 24 January 1903 until 15 November 1930.[1]
From its southmost limit, the Market Place (grid referenceTL 19208 98667), the network had three routes:

The system's owners started to introduce motorbuses in 1913 to supplement the trams. Ultimately Peterborough's electric tram system was superseded by a motorbus system which was an original component of theEastern Counties Omnibus Company.[1]
