Peter Schrager (born April 20, 1982) is an Americansportscaster forFox Sports and theNFL Network. Schrager serves as an analyst onFox NFL Kickoff as well as a sideline reporter for theNFL on Fox.
Born inFreehold Township, New Jersey, Schrager graduated fromFreehold Township High School andEmory University.[1][4]
Schrager auditioned for ESPN's "Dream Job" contest in college but ended up writing for the company's website. He later joined FoxSports.com, in a role that included on-camera responsibilities.[5]
In addition to his gameday coverage, he is a regular contributor toThe Herd with Colin Cowherd andThe Dan Patrick Show. Peter also stars alongsideKyle Brandt,Jason McCourty, andJamie Erdahl on NFL Network's popular weekday morning showGood Morning Football.
In addition to his work withFOX Sports and theNFL Network, Schrager is also the author of two books:Strength of a Champion withO. J. Brigance (2013),[6] and theNew York Times Best Seller,Out of the Blue with Victor Cruz (2012).[7] Schrager has also worked as an editorial contributor for Showtime'sInside the NFL, which earned a Sports Emmy in 2013 for Outstanding Studio Show – Weekly.[8]
Schrager hosts an NFL podcast, The Season with Peter Schrager, through iHeartPodcasts.[9]
He is married to Erica and the couple has two children, a son and a daughter.[10]
