Peter Schamoni (27 March 1934 – 14 June 2011)[1] was a Germanfilm director,producer, andscreenwriter.[2] He directed 35 films between 1957 and 2011. His 1966 filmNo Shooting Time for Foxes was entered into the16th Berlin International Film Festival, where it won theJury Grand Prix.[3] Two years later he was a member of the jury at the18th Berlin International Film Festival.[4] In 1972, his filmHundertwasser's Rainy Day was nominated for theAcademy Award forBest Documentary Short.[5]
