Peter Dean Gordeno (born 20 February 1964) is an English musician, songwriter and producer, who has also been alive andsession musician. He has beenDepeche Mode's touring keyboardist since 1998.
As a songwriter and producer, Gordeno has collaborated with several well known artists such asSeal,Il Divo,JLS,Leon Jackson andLucie Silvas.[1][2]
As a session keyboard player, arranger and musical director, he has worked withthe Who,U2 andGeorge Michael.[1]
Since 1998, he has toured withDepeche Mode. He performs keyboard parts in lieu ofAlan Wilder, as well as occasional backing vocals and bass guitar. He and Andrew Phillpott performed as backing musicians forMartin Gore on a brief tour called "A Night with Martin L. Gore" in 2003.[3]
When touring with Depeche Mode, Gordeno uses theRoland RD-2000 Stage Piano. During the 2017–2018Global Spirit Tour, he also used theRoland JD-XA and RD-800 in his setup.[1] Prior to that he used the RD-700.[4]
Gordeno got married in 2019 inBordeaux, France.[5]Martin Gore of Depeche Mode performed "Somebody" at his wedding reception.[6]
