Peter Gelle (Hungarian:Gelle Péter; born 23 August 1984) is a Slovaksprint canoer who has competed since the late 2000s. He is a member of theHungarian community inSlovakia.[1]

He won a silver medal in the K-1 500 m at the2010 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships inPoznań and a gold medal in the K-2 1000 m in2011 withErik Vlček.[2]

Biography

Peter was born inŠtúrovo and is a member of ethnicHungarian community in Slovakia. The area was transferred to a newly formedCzechoslovakia following theTreaty of Trianon.
