Periyasekkadu (or Peryasekadu) is a neighbourhood ofChennai inThiruvallur district in the state ofTamil Nadu,India. Periyasekkadu used to be a part of Madhavaram Municipality inThiruvallur district. In 2011, Madhavaram Municipality was merged withChennai Corporation. Peryasekadu comes under ward 28 in Zone 3 (Madhavaram) ofChennai Corporation.[1] It forms part of the Madavaram Assembly segment withinTiruvallur constituency for elections to theLok Sabha.[2]
