Perissos (Greek:Περισσός) is a station onAthens MetroLine 1 in the municipality ofNea Ionia in the regional unit ofNorth Athens,Attica,Greece. It is 16.556 km fromPiraeus. The station is founded by the limits ofNea Ionia and is named after the neighbourhood ofPerissos. It was opened by theHellenic Electric Railways on 14 March 1956, and was renovated in 2004.[1] It features two platforms.
The station features escalators and lifts for the disabled.
