Jewish ritual treat

Pekalach (meaning "small bags" inYiddish), also known ascaladman in Hebrew, are small bags containing sweets, which according toJewish tradition are thrown at the groom(Choson) at anAufruf, or distributed at aVacht Nacht,Upsherin, and sometimes at aBar Mitzvah orBat Mitzvah.
