Peach is amobile application-basedsocial network created byDom Hofmann.[3] Peach is available as anAndroid andiOS application. It was introduced at the January 2016Consumer Electronics Show inLas Vegas.[4]

Peach has been compared toEllo,Path, andApp.net.[3][5][6][4]

Peach has "magic words," which were compared toSlack's similar slash shortcuts.[3][7] These allow the user to access commonly used functions such as typing the letter "g" to send aGIF or "c" to bring up a calendar, similar to acommand line interface.[7]

Peach eschews the traditional news feed, hashtagging, and tagging common to social networks.[5] The editor-in-chief ofThe Next Web described Peach as a hybrid ofTwitter and Slack, while noting that some users of the social network were creating fake celebrity accounts.[8]Bloomberg Business noted that when it was introduced, "[e]verything about Peach... seemed hip, down to the URL", but that by the end of the month it appeared that "interest in Peach softened".[4]

In late 2023, LenosTube (a service that sellsYouTube channels, comments, and views) bought the peach.cool domain.[9] The website was updated to claim that Peach had been purchased by LenosTube,[10] and the domain set to redirect to their website.

As of 2025, the Android app is no longer listed on theGoogle Play Store.[11]
