Paul J. Cuba (June 12, 1908 – August 12, 1990) was an American professionalfootballtackle who played three seasons with thePhiladelphia Eagles of theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football at theUniversity of Pittsburgh.
Paul J. Cuba was born on June 12, 1908, inNew Castle, Pennsylvania, and attendedNew Castle High School there.[1] Helettered for thePittsburgh Panthers football team in 1932.[1] He also played basketball and baseball for the Panthers.[2]
Cuba signed with thePhiladelphia Eagles on August 28, 1933.[3] He played in nine games, starting eight, during the 1933 season.[4] He appeared in ten games, all starts, in 1934.[4] Cuba played in ten games for the second straight season, starting eight, in 1935.[4] He became a free agent in 1936.[3]
Cuba died on August 12, 1990, in New Castle, Pennsylvania.[1]
