Pattalam, is a developed residential area in CentralChennai, a metropolitan city inTamil Nadu, India.[1][2][3][4]
The area is famous for its Hanuman temple which occupies the center of the place;[5] Ellaiamman Temple[6] and Siddhi Buddhi Vinayagar cum Lakshmi Amman Temple,[7] all the above mentioned three temples are under the control ofHindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
It features the largest marketplace in North Chennai.
