Patricio Nicolás Cucchi (born 5 March 1993) is an Argentine professionalfootballer who plays as acentre-forward forAlmagro.[2]
Cucchi began his career withRosario Central.[4][5] In June 2014, Cucchi was loaned toTorneo Federal A'sTiro Federal.[2] He scored twice in his opening five appearances, netting in matches withLibertad andIndependiente in September.[2] Upon returning to his parent club, Cucchi soon departed on loan once again by signing withUnión Mar del Plata ofPrimera B Nacional.[2][6] His professional bow came on 26 April againstAtlético Paraná, with eight more appearances occurring; though just one was a start.[2] January 2016 saw Cucchi join Libertad on a permanent deal.[2] Six goals in 16 encounters followed.[2]
On 30 June 2016, Cucchi completed a move across Torneo Federal A by agreeing to sign forGimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza.[2][7] He made his debut on 11 September versusSportivo Desamparados, which was the first of 64 games in 2 seasons with the club which culminated with promotion to thesecond tier in2017–18.[2][8] He netted a brace on the opening day in2018–19 againstTemperley.[2][9] A total of seventeen goals arrived that season in all competitions, with the forward subsequently announcing his intentions to depart at the conclusion of the campaign.[2][10] A move to Colombia to play forAtlético Nacional was agreed on 28 June.[11][12] In 2020, Cucchi was loaned out toIndependiente Santa Fe for the rest of the year.[13]
In May 2019, Cucchi was involved in a minortraffic collision.[14] An accident that forced him to miss subsequent training, though he and the other occupant escaped unharmed.[14]
