Patricia Maria RozarioOBE (born 1960) is a Britishsoprano.
Patricia Maria Rozario was born inBombay, India in 1960.[1] After initial training in her native city she relocated to London to study at theGuildhall School of Music and Drama.

She has performed at theEnglish National Opera,Opera North,Glyndebourne Festival Opera, and theGarsington Opera in England, and has performed on stage across Europe inAix-en-Provence, Brussels, Frankfurt,Ghent,Innsbruck,Lyon andStuttgart.
One of her most notable appearances was across Europe inThe Marriage of Figaro, conducted by SirGeorg Solti. She has also given concerts in theRoyal Opera House,Covent Garden, and as part ofThe Proms in England, and abroad in Amsterdam, Athens, Berlin,Halle, Helsinki, Hong Kong, Cologne,Leipzig, Madrid, New York City, Paris,Riga,Rouen,Strasbourg, Vienna,Winterthur and Zürich. She performed in a production ofElvis Costello'sMeltdown.
Rozario has made numerous recordings of the works of the composerJohn Tavener. She was awarded theOrder of the British Empire in 2001. Rozario is currently a professor at theRoyal College of Music[2] andTrinity Laban[3] where she is a member of the Vocal Faculty.
In 2013, she was awarded thePravasi Bharatiya Samman by the President of India,Pranab Mukherjee, in recognition of her "outstanding achievements".[4]
