Patrick MacDonald (born February 20, 1982) is a Canadian former professionalfootball player who was adefensive lineman in theCanadian Football League (CFL). He was signed by theNew Orleans Saints as anundrafted free agent in 2007[2] and was the second player in the school's history to go to the NFL.[3] He was selected by theCalgary Stampeders in the third round of the2007 CFL draft. He playedcollege football atUniversity of Alberta.
MacDonald was also a member of theCarolina Panthers,Winnipeg Blue Bombers,[4]Seattle Seahawks[5] andMontreal Alouettes, winning aGrey Cup in 2008 and 2010.
Patrick MacDonald is now an entrepreneur and youth football coach[6] living in Victoria, Canada with his family.
