Patrick John Earles (born 22 March 1955 inTitchfield,Hampshire) is an English formerfootballer who played as aforward inthe Football League forSouthampton[1] andReading.[2] He was a member of the Southampton squad which reached the1976 FA Cup Final,[3] and made over 250 appearances forReading, scoring 85 goals, and helped the club win theFourth Division title in 1979.[4]He then had a spell playing non-league football, with clubs includingRoad-Sea Southampton andBognor Regis Town.

Earles went on to work as aprobation officer forHampshire Probation Service.[4]
