Pastificio d'Oro was anItalian restaurant inPortland, Oregon'sSt. Johns neighborhood, in the United States.[1][2] Chase Dopson and Maggie Irwin started the business as apop-up restaurant, initially operating fromGracie's Apizza before moving into thebrick and mortar space in 2022. Pastificio d'Oro served traditional cuisine and garnered a positive reception. It closed permanently in 2025.

TheItalian restaurant Pastificio d'Oro operated inSt. Johns, Portland. It had a wood-fired oven.[3][4] The menu featured rotating homemade pasta dishes,[5][6] such as tagliatelle ragù. The restaurant also servedlasagna andricottatortelloni.[7]

History

Chase Dopson was a co-owner and chef, and Maggie Irwin was also a co-owner.[3][8][9] The business opened in late 2022, in the space that previously occupiedGracie's Apizza.[5] It closed permanently in 2025.[10][11]

Michael Russell ranked Pastificio d'Oro tenth inThe Oregonian's list of Portland's best new restaurants of 2022.[12][13] Pastificio d'Oro ranked second in the best pasta restaurants category ofThe Oregonian's annual readers choice awards in 2024.[14]Brooke Jackson-Glidden included the business inEater Portland's 2023 overview of "vital" restaurants andfood carts in St. Johns.[15] The website also included Pastificio d'Oro in a 2024 list of the city's "stellar" Italian eateries and a 2025 list of Portland's best Italian restaurants.[16][17]
