ThePasir Ris–Changi Group Representation Constituency is a four-membergroup representation constituency (GRC) in theeastern region ofSingapore. It has four divisions: Changi, Pasir Ris Central, Pasir Ris East, and Pasir Ris West, managed by Pasir Ris–ChangiTown Council. The currentMembers of Parliament (MPs) for the constituency areDesmond Tan,Indranee Rajah,Sharael Taha andValerie Lee from the governingPeople's Action Party (PAP).
Before the2025 general election, Pasir Ris–Changi GRC was formed with four MPs by merging thePasir Ris section of the abolishedPasir Ris–Punggol GRC with the estates ofLoyang and Flora inEast Coast GRC.[1] At the same time, the Punggol section of Pasir Ris–Punggol GRC was merged withPunggol West Single Member Constituency (SMC) to form a newPunggol GRC. TheElectoral Boundaries Review Committee (EBRC) claimed that the move was meant to emphasise the identity ofPunggol.[2]
On 21 April, the PAP announced thatIndranee Rajah would leaveTanjong Pagar GRC to lead a PAP team in Pasir Ris–Changi GRC.[3] On 23 April,Desmond Lim, chairperson of theSingapore Democratic Alliance (SDA), announced an opposing team led by him.[4] The PAP won 67.68% of the vote.[5][6]
