Pascal James Imperato (born January 13, 1937) is a doctor and professor oftropical medicine andpublic health and an author on diverse subjects including public health, traditional medicine, African art, history and science fiction. Imperato is the founding Dean and Distinguished Service Professor of the School of Public Health at theSUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.[1][2]
Pascal gained his primary medical degree from theState University of New York and a Master's degree in public health and Tropical Medicine from theTulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
