Pascal/MT+ was anISO 7185 compatiblePascalcompiler[1] written in 1980 by Michael Lehman, founder of MT MicroSYSTEMS ofSolana Beach, California. The company was acquired byDigital Research in 1981 which subsequently distributed versions that ran on the8080/Z80 processor under theCP/M operating system. Later versions ran on the68000 CPU underCP/M-68K,[1] and the8086 CPU underCP/M-86 andMS-DOS.
Pascal/MT+, for the 8086, was available for CP/M-86,PC DOS/MS-DOS as well asRMX-86 (a proprietaryOS fromIntel). Pascal/MT+86 still runs today on even the latest version ofMicrosoft Windows andDR-DOS.
