ThePars Stadium (Persian:ورزشگاه پارس Varzešgâh-è Pârs,lit. 'Persia Stadium') is a multi-usestadium inShiraz,Iran. It is mostly used forfootball matches. The stadium holds 50,000 people. The stadium is the fourth largest stadium in Iran.[1] It is currently used mostly forfootball matches and is the home stadium ofPersian Gulf League side,Fajr Sepasi F.C. The stadium also is used for some matches ofBargh Shiraz F.C. andQashqai F.C. inAzadegan League.
The construction project of the stadium started in 2007 in Mianrood, southern Shiraz.[2] The stadium was finally opened on April 20, 2017, byMasoud Soltanifar, theMinister of Youth Affairs and Sports.[3]
The stadium has access to theShiraz Metro via line 2 (Ghahramanan station)
