TheParliament of Åland (Swedish:Ålands lagting) is the unicameral legislature ofÅland, an autonomous, Swedish-speaking region ofFinland. The Lagting has 30 members who make laws for Åland and oversee its government.[1]

Most parliamentary work is carried out by three standing committees:[2]
Members are elected every four years using proportional representation and thed'Hondt method. All voters and candidates must be at least 18 years old and eligible in Åland.[3][4]
