Park Jang-Soon (Korean:박장순;Hanja:朴章洵;RR:Bak Jangsun; born April 10, 1968) is a retired South Koreanfreestyle wrestler, world champion and Olympic champion.
He received a silver medal at the1988 Summer Olympics inSeoul.[1] He won a gold medal at the1992 Summer Olympics inBarcelona.[2] At the1996 Summer Olympics inAtlanta he received a silver medal.[3]
Park won a gold medal at the1993 FILA Wrestling World Championships inToronto, defeating former Olympic and world championDave Schultz in the final match. He became the first South Korean wrestler to win both a wrestling world championship and an Olympic gold medal.
