Parachleuastochoerus was an extinct genus ofeven-toed ungulates that existed during theMiocene inEurope.[1][2][3] It was a smaller descendant of theConohyus genus, with narrowercheek teeth and reducedpremolars.[4]
P. steinheimensis fed on roots, as indicated by87Sr/86Sr, δ18OCO3, and δ13C values sourced from its dental enamel.[5]
