Papyrus 97 (in theGregory-Aland numbering), designated by 𝔓97, is a copy of theNew Testament inGreek. It is apapyrusmanuscript of theGospel of Luke. The manuscript has survived in a fragmentary condition.[1][2]

Description

The surviving texts of Luke are only verses 14:7-14. The manuscriptpalaeographically has been assigned to the 6th century (or 7th century).[3]

Text

The Greek text of this manuscript is a representative of theAlexandrian text-type. It is not placed in any ofAland'sCategories.

Location

The manuscript is currently housed at theChester Beatty Library (P. Chester Beatty XVII) atDublin.[1][2]
