ThePanachikkadu Temple orPanachikkad Saraswathi Temple, also known as theDakshina Mookambika (Mookambika of the South)[2] Saraswathy Temple,[3] is aHindu temple dedicated to the goddessSaraswati. The temple is located in the southern region of the Indian Peninsula, inPanachikkad in Kottayam District,[4] Kerala, India. The main deity of the temple isVishnu, who was installed before Saraswati. There are sub-shrines forShiva,Ganapathi,Ayyappan,Snake deities and PanachikkattuYakshi inside the temple.[5]
