Pamela Reed is an American actress. She is known for playingArnold Schwarzenegger's police partner Phoebe O'Hara in the 1990 filmKindergarten Cop and portraying thematriarch Gail Green inJericho. She appeared asMarlene Griggs-Knope on theNBCsitcomParks and Recreation, as well as the exasperated wife Alison Langley inBean.

Reed received her B.F.A. at theUniversity of Washington.^[1][2]

Reed earned aDrama Desk Award for theoff-Broadway playGetting Out and anObie Award for "sustaining excellence in performance in theater". She was a regular in the cast of the 1977CBS dramaThe Andros Targets. She had minor film and television work in the 1980s. She won aCableAce Award for Best Actress for the HBO seriesTanner '88 (1988). She also co-starred with Daryl Hannah in the filmThe Clan of the Cave Bear (1985).^[3]
