Pam Ward is an American television sportscaster. She serves as a play-by-play announcer for theWNBA, and coverage of the 2012 and 2013Women's College World Series ofSoftball onESPN.[1]

She is a graduate of theUniversity of Maryland, College Park with a degree in communications.

Prior toESPN, Ward worked as an anchor/host forWTEM between April 1992 and March 1995 and thenWBAL between March 1995 and 1996.[2]

In 2000, Ward became the first woman to performplay-by-play announcing for anNCAA football nationally televised game.
