ThePakistan cricket team toured Australia in November 2024 to play theAustralia cricket team.[1][2] The tour consisted of threeOne Day International (ODI) and threeTwenty20 International (T20I) matches.[3][4] In March 2024, theCricket Australia (CA) confirmed the fixtures for the tour, as a part of the 2024–25 home international season.[5]

Cricket Australia namedJosh Inglis as interim captain for the T20I series against Pakistan.[10] CaptainPat Cummins,Steve Smith,Josh Hazlewood,Marnus Labuschagne andMitchell Starc were all rested for the third ODI, to prepare for theBorder–Gavaskar Trophy,[11] with pacersXavier Bartlett,Spencer Johnson and wicketkeeper-batterJosh Philippe added to the squad andLance Morris named as cover.[12] In the absence of Pat Cummins, Josh Inglis was named captain of Australia in the third and final ODI.[13] On 10 November,Cooper Connolly was ruled out of the T20I series due to a hand fracture.[14]
