Pãi Tavyterã is aGuarani language spoken by about 600Pai Tavytera people in easternParaguay, inAmambay, easternConcepción, easternSan Pedro, and northernCanindeyú Departments. The language has 70% lexical similarity with theKaiwá language, spoken inBrazil. Among Pai Tavyetera people, language use is shifting towardsGuaraní.[1]
