Paeon orPaion (Ancient Greek:Παιών) was anancient Greek[1] city located inancient Thrace, on the west coast of theThracian Chersonesus. It is cited in thePeriplus of Pseudo-Scylax, in the third position of its recitation of the towns of the Thracian Chersonesus, along withCardia,Ide, Paeon,Alopeconnesus,Araplus,Elaeus andSestos.[2]
Its site is tentatively located nearEce Liman,Çanakkale Province,Turkey.[3][4]
