Pablo Andrés Abdala Kovasevic (born 6 May 1972) is afootball manager and former player who played as amidfielder. He is the current manager ofCobreloa's youth categories.

Born in Argentina, Abdala represented thePalestine national team.

Playing career

Born inRosario, Abdala started his career withRosario Central in his homeland. He spent almost all his career abroad playing in Chile, Colombia and Ecuador.[1][2]

A historical player ofCobreloa,[3] he also played forDeportes Arica,[4]Universidad de Concepción,[5]Deportes Temuco andDeportes Melipilla in Chile.[2]

In Colombia, he played forMillonarios.[1]

In Ecuador, he played forTécnico Universitario.[1][6]

Coaching career

In 2021, Abdala served as assistant ofRodrigo Meléndez inCobreloa.[7] In charge of the under-20 team, he assumed as caretaker coach afterEmiliano Astorga left the club in May 2024.[8]

Personal life

He is ofPalestinian (Abdala) andCroatian[citation needed] (Kovasevic or Kovacevic) origin.[9][10]
