Serine/threonine-protein kinase PRKY is anenzyme that in humans is encoded by thePRKYgene.[3][4]

This gene encodes a member of thecAMP-dependentserine/threonine protein kinase family. This gene is located onchromosome Y, near the boundary of thepseudoautosomal region. Abnormalrecombination between this gene and a related gene onchromosome X is a frequent cause ofXX males andXY females.[4]
