Proline-rich nuclear receptor coactivator 1 is aprotein that, in humans, is encoded by thePNRC1 gene .[ 5] [ 6]
PNRC1 functions as acoactivator for severalnuclear receptors includingAR ,ERα ,ERRα ,ERRγ ,GR ,SF1 ,PR ,TR ,RAR andRXR .[ 7] [ 8] The interaction between PNRC1 with nuclear receptors occurs through theSH3 domain of PNRC1.[ 8]
