Proline-rich nuclear receptor coactivator 1 is aprotein that, in humans, is encoded by thePNRC1gene.[5][6]

Function

[edit]

PNRC1 functions as acoactivator for severalnuclear receptors includingAR,ERα,ERRα,ERRγ,GR,SF1,PR,TR,RAR andRXR.[7][8] The interaction between PNRC1 with nuclear receptors occurs through theSH3 domain of PNRC1.[8]
