Monaco – smallsovereigncity-state located inWestern Europe.[1] Monaco lies on the northern coast of the Mediterranean and is surrounded by France. It has the highest life expectancy at birth of any country, 89.4 years (2017 estimate).[2] Monaco is often regarded as atax haven, and many of its inhabitants are wealthy and from foreign countries (including France), although they are not a majority.[3]
