Outcast Hill is an isolatedhill in northernBritish Columbia, Canada, located southeast ofMess Lake. It lies at the southern end ofMount Edziza Provincial Park.
Outcast Hill was named on 2 January 1980 by theGeological Survey of Canada after the Wetalth people, a group of people who lived here in times past, outcast or exiled from the Tahltans.[1]
Outcast Hill is a volcanic feature associated with theSpectrum Range volcanic complex which in turn form part of theNorthern Cordilleran Volcanic Province. It is acinder cone that formed in thePleistocene period.[2]
