Oude Pijp (Dutch for "Old Pipe"), also known asNoord-Pijp (Dutch for "North-Pipe") is a neighbourhood ofAmsterdam,Netherlands located in an urbanised part of theZuid borough. It had a population of 14,102 in 2011 and an area of 68 hectares.[1] Together withNieuwe Pijp, Oude Pijp formsDe Pijp.
Oude Pijp is bordered by the Boerenwetering (west), theSingelgracht (north), theAmstel (east), and the Ceintuurbaan (south). TheSarphatipark is part of Oude Pijp. Notable locations include theAlbert Cuyp Market and theHeineken Experience, a formerHeineken brewery, currently an industrial museum.
