Ottmarsheim (French pronunciation:[ɔtmaʁsaim]ⓘ;Alsatian:Ottmersche) is acommune in theHaut-Rhindepartment inAlsace in north-easternFrance. It lies on the riverRhine and on theA36 autoroute, 14 km east ofMulhouse. Its octagonal parish church was the church of the formerBenedictine abbey of Saint Mary, and dates from the early 11th century.[3]
