Osamu Uno (宇野 治,Uno Osamu, born September 2, 1947) is a Japanesepolitician of theLiberal Democratic Party, a member of theHouse of Representatives in theDiet (national legislature). A native ofRubeshibe, Hokkaido, raised in Tokyo and graduate ofRikkyo University, he was elected to the first of his three terms in the assembly ofShiga Prefecture in 1991 and then to the House of Representatives for the first time in 2003.
