Orange Kloof is an area ofTable Mountain National Park inCape Town,South Africa.
It is located at the northern end of theHout Bay valley, just to the west ofCecilia Park. It is a conservation area with highly restricted access, vegetated by indigenousAfro-temperate forest and endangeredPeninsula Granite Fynbos.
Orange Kloof is believed to have derived its name from the bark of the orange-colouredsaffron trees that were prevalent inHout Bay at the time.[1]
