Okhotnyche (Ukrainian:Охотниче;Russian:Охотничье;Crimean Tatar:Ohotniçye) is arural settlement in theYalta Municipality of theAutonomous Republic of Crimea, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part ofUkraine andannexed byRussia as theRepublic of Crimea.[2]
Okhotnyche is the highest located settlement in Crimea, at an elevation of 1,160metres (3,810 ft).[1] The settlement is located on theAi-Petri mountain 19 km (12 mi) southwest fromLivadiya, which it is administratively subordinate to.[2][3] Its population was 34 in the2001 Ukrainian census.[2] Current population:17 (2014 Census).[4]
