The current director is Tony Sanfilippo, who had previously worked for over 14 years at thePenn State University Press .[ 3] A Mother's Tale , by Phillip Lopate, was widely reviewed by national media in 2017.[ 4] [ 5] How to Make a Slave was a finalist for the National Book Award in nonfiction in 2020.[ 6]
