TheOgunquit River (/oʊˈɡʌŋkwɪt/oh-GUNG-kwit) is a 9.8-mile-long (15.8 km)[1]tidal river inYork County,Maine. Its source is a smallmarsh in the town ofSouth Berwick and it flows through thetowns ofYork,Wells andOgunquit before reaching its end in theAtlantic Ocean. Itstributaries include Tatnic Brook, Green Brook, Bragdon Brook and Stevens Brook.[2] For much of its course it serves as the border between Wells and Ogunquit.
