Odile van Aanholt (born 14 January 1998) is a Dutchsailor who was the 202149er FX World Champion. She is, together withAnnette Duetz, the gold medalist at the2024 Paris Olympics in thewoman's 49er FX.
Van Aanholt was born in Curaçao and grew up with four siblings who all sail.[1][2]
In 2013, at the age of 14, Van Aanholt was the South AmericanOptimist champion,[1] and she took second place in the 2014Youth Olympic Games.[3]Sailing World detailed her training in the Persico 69F in preparation for the 2021 Youth America's Cup in Auckland.[4] Van Aanholt also sails in the49erFX, starting first with Marieke Jongens.[5] She is, withElise de Ruijter, the 2021 49er FX World Champion[6][7] and49er FX European Champion.[8]
