Ochras was a town ofancient Cappadocia mentioned by theAntonine Itinerary.Ptolemy mentions a placeOdogra or Odoga, in the district ofChammanene in Cappadocia, between theHalys River andMount Argaeus,[1] whichWilliam Smith conjectured was possibly the same as Ochras. Modern scholars do not accept the equivalence.[2]
Its site is tentatively located nearKalkancık Hüyük,Asiatic Turkey.[2][3]
