Oblivion Song is anAmerican comic book series created by writerRobert Kirkman and artist Lorenzo de Felici, which debuted byImage Comics in 2018,[1] and concluded with its 36th issue[2] in June 2022.[3]
Oblivion Song is asupernaturalscience fiction story that chronicles Nathan Cole, a man who makes daily trips to try to rescue those still living in the apocalyptichellscape of Oblivion, a part ofPhiladelphia lost a decade ago along with 300,000 of its citizens.[2]
The series holds an average critic rating of 7.7 out of 10 at the review aggregator website Comic Book Roundup.[3]
In June 2019, it was revealed thatUniversal Pictures andSkybound Entertainment would produce anOblivion Song movie with Sean O’Keefe writing the script.[4] In August 2021, it was announced thatJake Gyllenhaal would star in and produce the film under hisNine Stories Productions banner.[5]
