Object Description Language (ODL) was the originalinterface definition language created byMicrosoft for specifying interfaces to be used inOLE Automation. It was a superset of theOMG IDL.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]

Microsoft provided a utilitymktyplib to compile ODL files.^[5]
