Object Description Language

Object Description Language (ODL) was the originalinterface definition language created byMicrosoft for specifying interfaces to be used inOLE Automation. It was a superset of theOMG IDL.[1][2][3][4]

Microsoft provided a utilitymktyplib to compile ODL files.[5]

The ODL was merged into theMicrosoft Interface Definition Language.
