Baget RTOS (Russian:ОСРВ Багет) is areal-timeoperating system developed by theScientific Research Institute of System Development of theRussian Academy of Sciences for aMIPS architecture (Baget-MIPS variant) andIntelboard support packages (BSPs) (x86 architecture). Baget is intended for software execution in ahard real-timeembedded systems (firmware).
X Window System (client and server) was ported to Baget. It also hasEthernet support (Network File System (NFS),File Transfer Protocol (FTP),Telnet protocols), long filenameFile Allocation Table (VFAT) and atar file systems,floppy disk drive (FDD) andhard disk drive (HDD) driver support. Several supported network cards are limited by someRealtekIndustry Standard Architecture (ISA) andPeripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) cards.
The development process is based on the following principles:
